March 2008

EM Systems’ messaging system (Chatter) now includes the capability of transferring images directly to or from mobile/CAD users.  Users can now send images or attach images to messages and forward them to any other Chatter user.  This will allow images of suspects, missing persons or other critical images to be sent directly to any mobile equipped unit.

EM Systems deploys the most recent version of their LEMS RMS software to the Arcade Police Department in Arcade, NY.  The RMS is a comprehensive software application that includes an arrest/booking module, warrants, missing persons, crime and incident mapping and a police reporting system.

Messaging System Enhanced to Send Images

EM Systems will be displaying their suite of products at the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police Law Enforcement Exposition scheduled for May 6, 2008 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY.

EM Systems develops an interface to extract information from their CAD system for use with the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Spectrum Justice System (SJS).  The interface provides the necessary complaint information to the SJS program based on DCJS standards.  This eliminates the need for duplicate data entry for all law enforcement agencies using EM Systems’ CAD software and the State SJS record keeping system.

EM Systems to Attend NYS Chiefs of Police Conference

EM Systems enhances their mobile software to include the ability to manage Fire and EMS requirements.  As with the Police mobile system, the Fire and EMS mobile receives real time call information and updates including location, call type, responders, location warnings, history and contacts.  The system includes the ability to track hospital information including all relevant times.  Additional information such as hydrant locations and ProQA data is also available thereby providing all responders with the critical call information most important to their respective agency.

The system also includes EM Systems’ messaging system (Chatter).  This facilitates easy cross-agency communication via text messaging.  Chatter can be configured to include Police, Fire and EMS messaging groups.

ProQA Interface Added to EM Systems’ CAD

EM Systems adds ProQA interface to their Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.  The CAD system is now capable of initiating and switching to the ProQA system through a simple button click.  The CAD system tracks all ProQA incident numbers and transfers all relevant CAD/ProQA data back and forth between the two systems.
